The Environment

EFTPOS New Zealand is committed to reducing the impact of our business on the environment and moving towards more environmentally sustainable business practices. We’ve implemented a Waste Management Policy and removed individual staff rubbish bins, instead providing centralised bins with recycling options in every workspace. Our Staff Volunteer days encourage EFTPOS NZ employees to get out and work in their community, including participating in environmentally-focussed initiatives such as DOC projects. As a Verifone company EFTPOS NZ comply with the WEEE and ROHS directives, which seek to reduce the impact of electronic waste on the environment by making manufacturers responsible for the use of safe materials in production, and for the management of disposal methods.
